What we look at when planning safety monitoring

A fixed 3D LiDAR watches the area and returns people, vehicles and forklifts as coordinates, including distance and height. Because it judges by distance rather than brightness, detection stays steady through changing light, dust and night conditions.

Two things are separated during design. Assistive monitoring — seeing widely and warning early — has different requirements from a certified safety device that reliably stops a hazard zone. Which zones to cover, and where to place the unit, are settled by a coverage review before installation.
